Happy Halloweens is brought to you by The Keeper, the curator and owner of the photographs featured on the site. The photographs have come from a number of sources including online auctions and second hand market stalls. The collection is growing and at the time the site launched, there are about 120 photographs in it.
Most of the photographs originated from the United States of America, but there are some from Europe also. The photographs are mostly family snaps and amateur portraits, dating back to the turn of the 20th century through to the 1980s. The people in the photos are not known to us, but if you ever recognise anyone (or anywhere come to that,) we’d love to hear from you.
The images will be posted throughout the year, so despite the Halloween theme, if you love the kind of images featured, make sure to check back often and to ensure you follow the feeds or our other social presences. If you’d like to find out more about why these photos appeal to us, then check out the introductory post here.
